Abstract
Komputer dalam suatu jaringan LAN biasanya membutuhkan spesifikasi hardware yang sama antara server dan clientnya sehingga jika server menggunakan Pentium 4 maka client menggunakan Pentium 4 juga akibatnya memerlukan dana investasi yang besar. Untuk mengatasi masalah di atas maka digunakan “Thin Client Server Computing” (TCSC). Dimana hanya memerlukan 1 komputer server dengan spesifikasi yang tinggi saja, sedangkan computer client cukup di bawah komputer server. Misal server memakai Pentium 4 maka client cukup Pentium 1 saja. Hal ini akan meminimalisasi biaya investasi.
